Data Telemetry Collection

At Epoch Digital Simulations ULC, we value the integrity of your cosmic journey. When you connect to the ReelDrift Vanguard, we collect minimal necessary telemetry to maintain engine stability and personalize your simulated experience. This includes device diagnostics, browser type, connection logs, and gameplay metric data generated while engaging with the orbital engines.

We do not collect sensitive real-world financial data, as our platform is strictly free-to-play. Telemetry is utilized solely to improve structural integrity and refine the mechanics of the zero-gravity simulation.

Account Identity Safeguards

Whether operating under a temporary Guest ID or a registered Sync Account, your data is shielded by advanced encryption protocols. Guest IDs are tied locally to your device via browser storage, ensuring anonymity. Registered accounts require a 'Callsign' and 'Comms Address' which are hashed within our secure databases. We employ industry-standard access controls to prevent unauthorized infiltration of your virtual progress.

Cookie and Beacon Deployment

To sustain persistent connection states across the station, we deploy digital beacons (cookies) and local storage mechanisms. These are vital for tracking your Nova Shard balance during an active session and maintaining your progression along the Nebula Discovery Map. You retain the ability to purge these beacons via your local browser settings, though doing so will reset any un-synced Guest progress.

Third-Party Sector Sharing

We collaborate with trusted external sectors for hosting and analytics. These partners process anonymized traffic data to help us monitor station load and performance. We strictly forbid the sale of your personal telemetry to third-party marketing entities. Information is shared only as necessary to keep the simulation operational and secure.

Player Data Rights

You maintain full sovereignty over your data profile. Upon request, you may petition the command crew to extract a copy of your stored telemetry or execute a full deletion protocol, scrubbing your identity from the Vanguard servers. Requests can be initiated via the Comms Relay.

Minors and Age Restrictions

The Vanguard Station is classified strictly for mature personnel. Access is restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older (or the age of legal majority). We deploy active screening via the Age Gate protocol. Any data discovered belonging to underage individuals is immediately purged from our central core.

International Transmission

ReelDrift Vanguard operates from server arrays located within Canada. By connecting to our network, your data is routed through and stored in these jurisdictions. We ensure that all international data transmissions comply with relevant protection frameworks to safeguard your information during transit.

Directives Updates

As the simulation evolves, so too must our directives. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Directive. Significant structural changes will be broadcast via the station's primary interface or sent directly to your registered Comms Address. Continued use of the simulation implies acceptance of these updated parameters.
